Company context
To obtain the utilities required for producing pharmaceutical oral solutions, the company operates two reverse-osmosis water production units and an air handling unit (AHU/CTA).
Filtration challenge
The company had no particular technical issues with its water production units, and the air filters in place were delivering satisfactory results. However, it wanted to upgrade the existing installation to reduce maintenance costs, while maintaining the required utility filtration level.
Pemflow filtration solution
We therefore proposed that the client replace the existing filtration devices (water treatment station filters and air filter) on its production line with equivalent-performance filters from our catalogue.
After an initial successful trial conducted in early 2016, the company proceeded to replace all concerned filters with the filtration equipment recommended by Pemflow.
These new filtration systems preserved the required filtration quality while significantly reducing maintenance costs. The client also particularly appreciated the quality and fluidity of interactions with Pemflow (on-site visits and phone meetings).
The company, which is repatriating an outsourced capsule production line to its facility, plans to rely on Pemflow filtration solutions for this new activity as well.
