Company context
The company designs and manufactures industrial robots for cutting, machining and deburring for a wide range of industries, from automotive and food processing to watchmaking and aerospace. Among the machines produced, those dedicated to deburring incorporate various filters.
By projecting a fluid (oil or water) at high pressure (300 to 3500 bar), these machines remove machining burrs, strip and clean surfaces and mechanical part openings — even in hard-to-reach areas.
Filtration challenge
The deburring machines include 4 bag filters and 2 single-cartridge 20″ filters. The filtration devices previously used by the company were technically satisfactory, but they wanted:
Better stock management of consumables for their filtration equipment (notably filter cartridges).

We proposed filters perfectly suited to the client’s needs, after first providing 3D drawings to optimise filter integration into the production line.
The recommended filtration systems are:
- Series 81 housings – oil version, with high-efficiency 10 µm filter bags
- Series 51 20″ BB housings – oil version, with 5 µm filter cartridges
These changes made it possible to significantly reduce the filtration budget, both in terms of equipment and consumables, notably by optimising the filtration thresholds and the selected filter media.
